Star of the Sea ELC’s meal and snack menus are delicious and nutritionally balanced. All food is prepared in accordance with USDA policies by our full-time ELC Chef "Scooter." A diverse menu including ethnic dishes are offered. Food from home is not permitted at the Center. If a child requires a special diet or has allergies, a physician's certificate should be presented to the principal and included in the admissions packet on the emergency record and student history form. Dietary restrictions from allergies or religious beliefs will be accommodated as best as possible. If the school is unable to meet these needs, then parents may provide a home lunch for their child. Birthdays are celebrated once a month with a snack from the kitchen. A copy of our wellness policy can be viewed in our Parent Handbook.
