Summer sessions at Star of the Sea are divided into two sessions. The first session is from June 6 - July 8 and the second session from July 11 - August 5. Summer sessions include similar education and enrichment as the school year but also include summer activities such as water play Fridays. Uniforms in the summer are not required and children may wear their own play clothes to school.

Upon enrollment, each parent will receive a summer curriculum packet for each child that details weekly lessons and activities. Each week highlights activities in math, language, practical life and sensorial for all levels. The summer curriculum includes:

• Language and development
• Phonics and skill building
• Math enrichment
• Sensorial and practical life
• Gross motor development
• Music enrichment
• Creative movement
• Arts and crafts

Applications for the Summer Sessions will be available in March 2011.
